Electric, Hybrid and Petrol Engines

One of the most appealing aspects of the new Vauxhall Corsa is the flexibility on offer when it comes to engine types.

We are delighted to be able to offer the Vauxhall Corsa with electric, hybrid or petrol engine options. This gives you plenty of choice when it comes to choosing the ideal motor for your needs.

Electric

The Vauxhall Corsa Electric comes with a 50kWh battery and a 100kW (136hp) electric motor. The vehicle has a WLTP-approved range of 209 miles from just a single charge. With support for up to 100kW rapid charging, an 80% charge can take just 30 minutes.

Alternatively, the new Electric Corsa from Vauxhall can be powered up through a normal household socket, delivering enough charge for 62 miles in 2.5 hours. A more powerful home wallbox (7kW) can deliver a full charge in 7.5 hours.

And with 26,000 public chargers now available across the UK, the new Vauxhall Corsa Electric can be boosted to 80% of its capacity in 30 minutes when using one.

Hybrid

The Vauxhall Corsa Hybrid features a powertrain with a 432Wh capacity lithium-ion battery. This is recharged automatically under certain driving conditions, and complements the 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine.

This engine has been specially developed for hybridisation, and is available in two states of tune. The Vauxhall Corsa Hybrid’s engine features a peak power of 100hp or 136hp. This is produced at 5,500rpm and maximum torque of 205Nm, or 230Nm available at 1,750rpm.

The new Vauxhall Corsa Hybrid also comes with an electrified six-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, specifically designed for hybrid applications. What’s more, the gearbox has a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor integrated into it, producing peak power of 21 kW (28hp) and a maximum torque of 55Nm.

Petrol

If your preference is a petrol model, then you can purchase the Vauxhall Corsa with a petrol engine.

Vauxhall’s petrol model is highly efficient, providing good miles per gallon and enabling you to continue your driving in a way familiar and appealing to you.

Vauxhall Corsa Trims

The new Corsa comes in three different trims, helping you choose your preferred version and allowing you to travel in style.

The Design model is the entry level trim, and comes with a high level of specification as standard. This includes a colour touchscreen with smartphone projection, as well as alloys, air conditioning and cruise control.

The GS is the sportier model, while the Ultimate Vauxhall Corsa model is the top of the range, with exceptional equipment, design features and technologies characterising this outstanding model.
