Put simply, you exchange all or part of your mobility allowance to lease the vehicle you choose. The payments are deducted from your allowance every four weeks and paid directly to the Motability scheme.

Some vehicles will require an Advance Payment, which is not included in your mobility allowance, but many won’t need this.

Peugeot Motability Scheme cars are offers on a 3 year Contract Hire Lease Agreement. This package includes:

• A brand new Peugeot every 3 years, or every 5 years for Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs)
• Insurance for up to 2 names drivers
• Servicing and maintenance at our Kings Lynn Peugeot branch
• Replacement tyres
• Windscreen repair or replacement

Once you’ve worked out what’s important to you in your Motability Scheme vehicle you’re ready to speak with us. You can call, enquire via our website or visit us in person.

Our Motability Scheme Experts will help you choose the perfect vehicle for you, discuss any adaptations you may need and arrange for a test drive where requested. They’ll take you through the process from start to finish, ensuring you understand each step along the way.

Once you’ve made your order you’ll receive an acceptance letter with your Personal Identification Number. Your chosen retailer will keep you up to date on the progress of your new vehicle and provide you with an expected delivery date.

To be eligible to join the scheme you need to receive one of the following Motability Scheme
allowances:

• Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment
• (PIP)
• Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
• Higher Rate Mobility Component of Child Disability Payment (Scotland)
• War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) have at least 12 months' award length on your allowance remaining.
