Sales & Customer Relations Manager | Thurlow Nunn

We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Sales & Customer Relations Manager to join our thriving Distrigo centre in Norwich. Not only would you manage and drive sales through our central contact centre team for all retail aftersales enquiries on behalf of our 11 workshops spanning Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire Norfolk, Northamptonshire & Suffolk, you would also be responsible for our Parts sales team. Our Distrigo operation also supplies motor parts to customers throughout Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire & Suffolk. Including Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen & DS dealers, national fleets such as Royal Mail, emergency services, national & local bodyshops plus in excess of 1000 independent repairers with a collective annual turnover in excess of £20 million.

The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated and driven to succeed, experience of running a sales operation is desirable including a busy telesales team. The candidate will want to actively ensure the continued growth of the business, keeping abreast of changes within the marketplace and seizing opportunities when they arise. The successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft excel and have strong analytical skills along with the ability to motivate, coach and drive a sales team to deliver a first class customer service.

  • Managing all sales activities & related staff within the Distrigo Operation, including working with the Operations Manager to develop sales growth & retention strategies to maximise sales to PSA approved authorised repairers, fleets, bodyshops & independent businesses.
  • Overseeing and maximising the productivity of the Telesales and Field Representative teams
  • Ensuring the Sales team adhere to manufacturer & group standards with regards to customer satisfaction & mystery shop criteria
  • Working closely with the Operations & Warehouse and Logistics Managers to maximise revenue and profitability.
  • Working with the Operations Manager to meet and maintain manufacturer standards with regards to sales activity and reporting
  • Working with the Operations Manager to ensure manufacturer sales out targets are achieved.
  • Working with the Marketing Coordinator to develop & manage monthly marketing activity
  • Working closely with Team Leaders to embed processes across the business.
  • Manage customer complaints and escalate to the Operations Manager or relevant site management team where required
  • Develop and manage strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention

A company car will also be provided. A competitive salary plus bonus, OTE £35,000.00-£40,000.00
