Am I Eligible To be eligible to join the scheme you need to receive one of the following Motability allowances:

• Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) • Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)

• Higher Rate Mobility Component of Child Disability Payment (Scotland)

• War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)

• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) have at least 12 months’ award length on your allowance remaining.

How Does it Work?

Put simply, you exchange all or part of your mobility allowance to lease the vehicle you choose. The payments are deducted from your allowance every four weeks and paid directly to the Motability scheme.

Some vehicles will require an Advance Payment, which is not included in your mobility allowance, but many won’t need this.

MG Motability cars currently have over 400 adaptations available through the Motability Managed Adaptations Programme (MMAP). This means that your adaptations are fitted before your vehicle is delivered to you, meaning you can drive away with confidence.

Common Motability adaptations include hand controls for disabled drivers as well as easily foldable seats. Your adaptation installer will ensure that your adaptations work specifically for your needs with your chosen MG vehicle.
