The sleek Cascada is a four-seater convertible with stylish looks and a powerful performance to match.
This elegant model has a folding fabric roof that folds electronically to catch the best of the British weather. The sculpted features are complemented by 18-inch alloy wheels and LED tail lights, and the Elite model also comes with front fog lights.
The streamlined interior uses tactile, soft-touch materials to create an upmarket feel, with Morrocana fabric covering the dashboard and instrument panel. The supportive seats are clad with premium cloth or leather, and the Elite trim level adds front sports seats. There are 13 storage compartments throughout the cabin along with a 280-litre boot.
The Cascada is available in two trim levels; SE and Elite. The SE model comes with a remote control to open and close the fabric roof, air conditioning and an audio system with digital radio and a USB connection. You also get Bluetooth® connectivity, parking sensors and cruise control as standard. The Elite variant also has heated seats, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, and Vauxhall OnStar.
OnStar provides connectivity services and emergency assistance. This intelligent system controls all your infotainment features from a central, intuitive interface. Vauxhall has engineered the Cascada’s chassis to have very high torsional stiffness, enhancing the handling and driving dynamics. You can also opt to include FlexRide, which offers three suspension settings.
The Cascada is fitted with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and an Electronic Stability Programme (ESP). In the event of a collision it is as safe as a hard-top car, with a reinforced windscreen and pyrotechnic roll bars that rise up when triggered by the same sensors as the airbags. You can opt to include a front camera system with traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning and forward collision warning.
The engine line-up includes powerful, refined petrol and diesel units. The fastest petrol engine is a 1.6-litre Ecotec turbo which develops 168bhp, and when equipped with this unit the Cascada can sprint from 0-60mh in 9.2 seconds. The 2.0-litre BiTurbo diesel generates 192bhp and propels you from zero to 60mph in 8.9 seconds.
